Law 4523/2018 (Greek Government Gazette A’ 41) introduced a new legislative framework for the legalization of finished medicinal cannabis products (THC above 0.2%) in Greece. The new legislation enables private investors to invest and expand their activities in Greece in the established field of production and processing of finished medicinal cannabis products. At the same time, reforms are expected in the legal framework for industrial hemp products (THC below 0.2%) in order to create the required stable legal environment for the development of large investments in this market.
